Les ha pasado que salen a un lugar nuevo cerca de su ciudad y por supuesto como siempre estamos "echando un ojito" a ver si vemos tiendas de quilts...encontramos una que al principio la vemos y decimos "humm...puede que no tenga muchas cosas PEEEROO...voy a llegar por si acaso" ?? Bueeeno...eso fue exactamente lo que me paso ayer... fui a YELM un pueblito como a 20 o 30 minutos de donde vivo a hacer una diligencia para mi mami... y cuando casi llegaba a mi destino que veo " Gee-Gee's Quilts"...y claro yo no podia pasar eso por alto... y como les dije anteriormente pense que pues no tendrian gran cosa pero llegue de todas formas... solo hice entrar y quede recogiendo la quijada del suelo!! Esta tiendita que por fuera no tiene nada de glamorosa por dentro el patito feo se transformo en cisne frente a mis ojos... tienen que ver la cantidad de material (tela) que tienen... la dueña y las dependientas son un amor...super linda gente!! aqui les dejo unas fotitos que me permitieron tomar...( ya saben ^A^ngel va con su camara a tooodos lados jiji )

Has it happened to you ... you are out and about ...maybe in a new place not too far from where you live...and you know how quilters are ...always "on the look" for a quilting stores...You find one and your first impression is "it may not have that much of a selection....BUUUUTTT...let's go in just in case"?? Well that's exactly what happened to me yesterday...I went to YELM a little town 20 or 30 minutes from home to run some errands for my mom... and what do I spy?? "Gee-Gee's Quilting"... Of course I couldn't just keep going.. so I stoped and like I said before I didn't think much of it... but boy was I in for a jaw dropper... It has tons of amazing fabric...the owner and the girls that work there are super nice... She even let me take some pics...( Yes.. ^A^ngel takes her camera everywhere she goes LOL) It was like.. the ugly duckling became the swan right before my eyes ...It was just great...!

Mas tranquila... mas contenta... More relaxed...more content...

Luego de unos dias un poco dificiles... ahora me siento mejor...mas tranquila...y mucho mas contenta... Soy bastante reservada y muchas veces las personas no saben que a veces tengo cosillas en el corazon que me entristecen...Como en estos dias que mi mamita no se habia estado sitiendo nada bien... Gracias a Dios ya puedo estar mas tranquila... porque el susto a pasado y ya mami esta mejor...

After a few hard days... I feel better now... more relaxed.. and much more content... I keep to myself a lot...and sometimes people just don't know that I'm carrying in my heart things that get me sad... For example, the last couple of days my mom's health was poor... Thank God I can now take a breather... cause mom is better...

Hace algunas entradas puse el patron de Ruby para hacer un SAL con las chicas del grupo Muñecos de Tela del Rincon del Arte...

Yo no iba a participar de el pero luego me dije "por que no?" yo tambien soy parte del club y quiero compartir con todas... asi es que he terminado mi Ruby y aqui se las presento... espero les guste... esta hecha de franela asi es que es muy suavita.

At first I thought I would make the projects trying to match the fabrics colors...but then I thought that the fun of it is for them to be diferent and to get to play with the colors (just in case we don't get the right colors for the person we are giving it to the first time) so here they are:

Si chicas... la hermosa conejita que he ganado en el candy de Rita ha llegado...dice que ha tenido un viaje un poco cansado desde Tenerife pero que esta contenta de haber llegado a su nuevo hogar...

Cuando la vi por primera vez en el blog pense que era muy linda... ya no pienso lo mismo... ahora no pienso ... ahora SE que es PRECIOSA!!.. Yes... the beautiful bunny that I won from Rita's is here... she said it was a long trip from Tenerife but that she is content to be in her new home...

Poquito a Poco... y mas... A lil bit at a time...and more...

Hoy lo poco que avance lo hice ya entrada la tarde y luego ya en la noche luego que mis enanos se fueron a dormir...

Estos ultimos dias han sido de lluvias constantes... no me quejo porque es lo que mantiene todo verde y hermoso en donde vivo...

Today the little I did was done late in the afternoon and at night after my kids went to bed...

For the past days it's been raining constantly ... but I'm not complaining because it's what mantains where I live green and beautiful...

Esta tarde mientras la lluvia tomaba un descanso... me sente afuera en el porch a bordar las rosas del proyecto #3...la brisa estaba fresca y el sol se asomaba a pesar de que habian algunas nubes de lluvia...Disfrute mucho el rato afuera ... sobre todo con la compa~ia de estos visitantes que vienen y alegran mi alma con su canto.... No son hermosos?

This afternoon while the rain was taking a little break... I sat on the porch to stitch the roses on project #3... the breeze was cool and the sun was peeking out even though some rain clouds were still there.... I enjoyed been outside... mostly in the company of this visitors that come to cheer my soul with their singing... aren't they beautiful??

Beeeno...poco a poco voy avanzando ... no he hecho mucho pero ahi voy... El tercer proyecto del inter de Stitchers Angel solo tengo que armarlo... no lo termine hoy porque como marque la lineas donde iba a acolchar con marcador de tinta soluble en agua pues lo tuve que lavar y ya era bastante tarde... pero aqui les dejo el avance para que vean como voy....

Well... I lil bit at a time I'm progressing...I haven't done much today but it's getting there. The third proyect from the Stitchers Angel Swap I just have to put together... I didn't finish today because I used marker to draw the quilting lines so I had to put it in the washer machine and it was already late... but here is what I've accomplished so far...
