Hi, I hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend… mine wasn’t the greatest
‘cause my mom was not feeling good and that always get me sad. Now
is Sunday evening and she is feeling a bit better so I’m thankful to God
for that… I’ve always loved being crafty but in times like this I think I love it
even more because it’s such a good therapy… It gives me strength …I feel
like God is telling me fill yourself with love and that will give you strength
to keep going…
So that’s how I feel when I craft, I feel full of love… and that is my strength ..
Today I decided to organize a couple of things and I got out a couple of
unfinished projects… Imagine that! With the ton of other projects I have in my
head I can’t be leaving UFO’s all over the place. I took a table top that I had with
the same pattern I made the tree skirt with…just changed the fabrics ( still
x-mas fabrics though) and didn’t leave any slit. Now with the finished top I just
need to make the sandwich and start quilting.
I’ve also took out a t-shirt quilt that I’m making for my boys (those two in the pic)
very simple… made out of some of their favorite t-shirts that they’ve outgrown
Just 15 blocks, the t-shirts cut outs are 12”x 12”, two borders and because the
fabric I used had and outdoor theme I made a bear paw block to put on each corner.
Remember the Pucca doll from a few post ago? Well I’ve found the pattern…
I’ll leave the link here for the ones who know how to crochet… maybe one of
you ladies will make me one LOL!!
