BOM Costureros de Ana...

Ahora ya si estan cosiditos mis bloques Nine Patch para el quilt de los costureros... como les dije antes yo use el Jelly Roll de una de las colecciones de tela que ya tenia en casa.. La "migration" de Holly Taylor para Moda...

My nine patch blocks are now sewn for the sewing basket quilt... like I told you before I used a Jelly Roll that I already had at home... "Migration" by Holly Taylor for Moda...

Luego de terminarlos comence con el primer costurero... y luego de marcarlo en la tela con un marcador azul soluble en agua (que me encantan porque no hay problema de que se corran en la tela) he bordado el costurero en si con DMC #221 y el borde y la etiqueta con DMC #611...

After I finished them I started with the first sewing basket...after I marked it on the fabric with a blue water erasable marker ( that I love because there is no bleeding ink problems ) I stitched the basket with DMC #221 and the border and tag with DMC #611...

Todavia no he bordado el corazon porque estoy debatiendo entre bordarlo, ponerle un boton o hacer otra cosa...

I still haven't stitch the heart cause I'm debating between stitching it, putting a button or doing something else...

Sorteo de Cumpleaños de Nela...

Nela llega a los cuarenta y para esta ocasion tan significativa quiere celebrar con un Sorteo...

Pero como no es una "edad cualquiera"... tampoco es un "sorteo cualquiera"... sino que es

el sorteo de un trabajo bello como lo son los cuarenta para una mujer... Es estar mas centradas...

Es verte al espejo y ver que la belleza que llevas por dentro se refleja por fuera...

Eso es precisamente lo que me gusta de sus trabajos ... la combinacion de belleza, delicadeza y sofisticacion ...

Asi es que visitenla para que tengan la oportunidad de ganar este hermoso trabajo...

Poquito a Poco.... A lil bit at a time...

A pesar de estar algo "apretada" de tiempo, voy poquito a poco trabajando aqui y alla en proyectos en los que me he comprometido... Hay mucho que hacer... asi es que tengo que organizarme bien para no dejar nada rezagado.

Even though lately it seems like time is not on my side... slowly but surely I've been working here and there in projects I committed to ... There's a lot to do... but all I need to do is to organize myself really good so nothing is left behind..

Empiezo por enseñarles los cuadritos y el corazon que he hecho para Ale... Les explico, Ale se casa el proximo mes de Febrero y su hermana Fer nos pidio que la que quisiera mandara un cuadrito tejido y un corazon...para hacerle una colcha a Ale con los cuadrito y el cariño de todas... no es una linda idea? Para este proyecto utilice lana de 4 mediana de la marca Red Heart super saver en colores crema, verde y lila. Y gancho de crochet K.

Let's start by showing you the granny squares I've crocheted for Ale...why? well... Ale is getting married in February and her sister Fer asked the ones who were willing to ...to make a granny square and a heart to make Ale a blanket with our love and good wishes ... Isn't that a nice idea?

For this project I used Red Heart super saver yarn (4 medium) and a crochet hook K.

Lo siguiente es ahora una promesa cumplida... Aqui estan las matrioskas que le prometi a Brenda que haria para que me sonriera desde el cielo... Ven niña linda... y llename de tu luz...sonrieme...!

El trabajo esta hecho a dos hebras de hilo DMC # 815.

Terminar este proyecto tambien cuenta como el primer objetivo (Enero) del TEG que organiza vanina. Para mas informacion visiten su "cajita" pinchando en su nombre...

Next is something a promised ... Here are the matrioskas I promised Brenda I will finish for her to smile from heaven when I was done.... Sweet little girl... give me some of your beautiful light...smile down on me!

The redwork is made with two strands of DMC # 815.

Por ultimo les muestro lo que he hecho para comenzar el BOM de los Costureros de Ana... organizado por Ana Salom. Ya he terminado el proceso de los 16 bloques de 9 patch solo me hace

falta coserlos y terminar el bordado del primer costurero... ya les ire mostrando... Para este proyecto estoy utilizando uno de los jelly rolls que ya tenia en casa... se llama "migration" de Holly Taylor para Moda.

And last but not least here is what I've done so far for the BOM Ana's sewing baskets organized by Ana Salom. I've finished with the nine patch blocks (16 of them) I just need to sew them and finish stitching the first sewing basket... I'll be showing you this tomorrow... For this project I'm using a jelly roll that I had at home...it's called "migration" by Holly Taylor for Moda.
